Audrey II in Star Wars?!
Question: Just watching the remastered "Return of the Jedi", the scene where Luke, Han and Chewbacca are about to be thrown off Jabba's yacht and into the Pit-Beast...
I've never noticed before but the pit beast coming out of the Hole looks a lot like "Audrey II", The " Mean Green Mutha from Outta Space" killer plant from Little Shop of Horrors!...
Was it there in the original version?

The "Audrey" wasn't added until the 1997 Special Edition. I have that and the original. In the original it was just a pit with teeth on the side and the tounges which would try to grab you.
Hmmm, I never noticed the Audrey resemblence (I LOVE LSOH) but now that you mention it I see it.
Audrey II scared me as a little boy.

On before was just the tenticles in the re-mastered version that came out about 10 years ago you wer able to see the mouth area.
no added in he remaster the original was just a hole with a couple of tentacles and not very menacing looking
