Someone asked if I wanted to watch the film Seven tonight, is it any good?!

If you're easily squeamish or scared, I wouldn't reccommend it. Its not as graphic as, say, the Hostel or Saw films, but it does get pretty nasty at times.
As a horror fan myself, I enjoyed it. I found it to be intelligently written, well-acted and disturbing. Its more of a crime thriller than an outright horror film, although its pretty scary at time.
Its a rather bleak and nihilistic film, though, so keep that in mind if you're looking for a popcorn flick.

It is good, you will never forget it once you've seen it, but you need a strong stomach to watch it, that's a warning, seriously, it deals with a really twisted character. : )
SEVEN as in the one with brad pitt and morgan freeman is absolutely brilliant you should be hooked if you have any taste in movies especially horror.
I think it is an excellent movie, but I would read the information about it before watching it.

It's very good,it was the first film that in my opinion Brad Pitt evolved as a reasonable actor.You will need a strong stomach but this is a great film,and the ending should shock you.For the love of God watch it and enjoy!
I'm amazed someone called it rubbish. It is one of the very few scary films I like. It's scary because it's possible.

It's excellent, one of my faves! Really clever storyline and an ending you won't forget in a hurry. You should definitely watch it! Hope you enjoy it!
OH GOSH! A really good movie, the first movie I actually looked at Brad Pitt and thought, he's not a bad actor. (This was only the very last bit in with the box though)
I like a good horror film but Seven was one of the very very rare instances where I thought there was something 'off' about a film. Plus, the ending's a rip off. It really is, despite what some people might tell you. The film presents itself as something really intelligent and nasty, but it's really not too removed from Troma films. My advice is not to watch it. But I suspect you will anyway.
