Need the title of a movie with some black dude and the last man on earth and som!
Question: I am trying to remember the name of a movie. I believe it was made in the mid-eighties. It's about a man who wakes up to find himself the last man on earth - everyone else has just disappeared. A couple of years pass by, and he seems to lose his mind, being alone all the time.
Eventually he runs into a woman, and they look together for others. They run into a black man, and the two of them hook up, much to the chagrain of the main character.
Eventually the main character dies, and it ends with him shown walking on the beach of an alien planet.

It's not "The Omega Man", the movie that you are thinking of is "The Quiet Earth". The final scene is the same image as the poster for the movie:
