My favorite old movie is Children of Paradise. OMG that movie is awsome, you know,if you dont mind reading subtitles.

bela lugosi, lon chaney i love old scary movies. i love baby jane!!! just watched it like 2 days ago. and the birds by alfred hitchcock, old movies have more content because they had no real special effects. i hate new movies like saw etc.. no imagination.. love john wayne whats that one movie where he has all them kids and the little one is kidnapped and he goes to find him? thats a great movie.

i love old movies. specially back to 1965 or 1967 movies

There are too many to mention. I love James Dean, he is my fave actor, I also love Cary Grant and James Stewart. I like all of the Hitchcock Blondes and Marilyn Monroe.

you should watch the third man, double indemnity, and the wild bunch. The first two are really good noir movies.

But to answer your question. Have you watched "Gilda". She sings put the blame on me boys, put the blame on me, war time favorite.

Bet you do not remember "The Iron horse." It was a train - western.

Gregory Peck was funny.

Mrs Miniver (American war film, brilliant).

My grandfather once was in a film with Patrick McGoohan who was Danger Man. (John Drake).

So, yes there certainly have been some excellent black and white films, including those in your list.

"Saturday Night and Sunday Morning" was another classic.

Richard Burton of course was a great actor. So too his wife Elizabeth Taylor.

But my favorite was - is Glenda Jackson. In serious films or comedy. Not many can do both successfully as she did.

I like the WW II movies especially with Nazis doing their intimidation thingy.

I also like the 60's stuff with our people and the British dorking the KGB.
