Film help needed...?!
Question: in the 1960 film ' the time machine' theres the ' eloi' who are the good guys and the ' morlocks' who are the bad guys but my question is does anyone remember in the film there were bird type creatures in the cave that swooped down to attack and eat the eloi. do you know what they were called? or can anyone tell where i can download pictures of them to my phone (its a debat at work). please help.....

I don't remember this from the time machine, but it's been a long time since I saw it.
It does sound like 'At the Earths Core' with Peter Cushing and Doug Mclure (spelling?). There were these telepathic, parrot like headed reptilian things that swooped down and ate the good guys.

Was this not a Dr Who film? I remember that they had huge black heads and killed the people standing in the middle of a stone by swooping down and smashing them on the head. Ugh. Makes me shudder. If not I will now have now have to try and think what it was myself. Cheers...
Sorry, I've seen the film a few times, but I don't remember any birdlike creatures. Could be wrong of course, I haven't seen it for a few years.
i don't remember any Bird type creatures coming down and eating them i thought it was just the morlocks who eat them? and for pictures try the like I've sent you hope it helps
Sorry, Busty, there were no such creatures in George Pal's "Time Machine." I think you're confusing it with another 60's sci-fi/ fantasy type film, perhaps "At Earth's Core"
