I'm trying to identify a movie from one scene, can you help?!

Question: Apologies for not having more to go on but this scene was hilarious to me and I will give a description of everything I can remember about it.

It was set in contemporary times and the shot location was in a regular suburban home. The camera location was in the living room and the foreground was a female character who was probably on the phone while seated on the couch. She was near retirement age, say in her late 50's.

Behind her and through the window you could see her (husband?), who appeared to be a wee bit older than her, passing by the window with a push mower. In alternating shots about 10 seconds long, the scene would show the lady on the phone and then switch to the man outside having trouble with the mower.

Then, after the mower stalls, the man gets progressively more frustrated as he unsuccessfully tries to restart it. And finally, the scene changes to the interior of the house with the lady still on the phone. MORE>>>

There's a similar scene in "The Straight Story"
www.imdb.com/title/tt0166896
At the beginning the woman (Sissy Spacek) is on the phone and we see her father (Richard Farnsworth) with the mower through the window.

Later in the movie, Spacek is talking with another woman sitting at the kitchen table. Her father, in the background, shoots the lawnmower.

MIGHT BE LAWNMOWER MAN.....SCI FI MOVIE
