I loved the book in High School so I will check it out. I think the clips I have seen of it, the graphics are cool. I like to see if the movie portrays the book anyhow....

I would if it was live action but these CG characters just don't do it for me. I'm sure they did the best they could with the character design but they just look weird and unnatural. I felt the same way with "polar express." The environments look great and I can deal with that but the characters just bug me.

I had to read this story in my English 4 class and to be honest, it was really boring and I really didn't understand it that well. I doubt I would go and see it. Unless if someone buys me a ticket.

No. I was never fond of the story when we read it in school. that and the fact that they threw in random stuff like Grendel's mother turning into a human to seduce Beowulf. Just wtf!?!
