What is the mane of this movie?!
Question: ok bare with me, i saw this when i was like 7.
it was a sadd movie, im pretty sure a drama.
there was a young baseball team and one kid hit the baseball and it hit of of their moms who was taking a walk. she dies.
and then something happens and the bus the kids are in is sinking in the water, and a man is trying to save them.
i think the main character is Simon. not sure.

Simon and his friend Joe are like outcasts. And while playing in a Little League game, Simon hits a foul ball that hits Joe's mom and kills her. Then Joe and Simon search for Joe's father.
Simon thought that God had a special purpose for him. Though no one knew what, he became the hero in the movie when the bus starts sinking.
This is an excellent movie!

This movie (Simon Birch) is actually based on a John Irving book called "A Prayer For Owen Meany" which is one of my favorite all-time books. The movie may be fairly good but is is just one section of the book and couldn't begin to capture the poignancy and depth of the character of "Owen".
