Can someone explain the ending of the film 'Closer' for me please?!
Question: I understand the versions (character's versions of flashbacks) and everything but Jude Laws character ends up alone and he goes to that park with the names of people who died for other people and he see 'Alice Ayres' name but at the very end you see her walking through a busy street on her own with men turning to look at her.
Did she really die?

Jude Law and Natalie Portman walked through that cemertary early on in the film and Natalie picked her name from there (I'm guessing to create a new person for herself, tired of being plain ol' Jane). Her real name is Jane - as she says to the passport control man as she returns to America.
