Does anyone know what the outcome of the big fight was in the first Rocky movie?!
Question: Apollo won in a judge's split decision (not unanimous, just majority).
Rocky went the distance though (all 15 rounds), which no one even expected him to have a chance at doing, so it was like a moral victory for him.

Apollo killed Rocky the first part of the fight, and got more points, so he in turn did win. Although in the last round Rocky had Apollo up against the ropes, and if the round would have lasted longer, potentially won, bringing Apollo back for a rematch in Rocky II because people said he was saved by the bell.
Apollo Creed won. But Rocky went the distance.
