Most annoying thing about "scary" movies?!
Question: For me it's when instead of scaring the audience they startle them by making sudden, extremely loud noises when it's really quiet, whether it's something horrible or the stupid wind knocking something over or a cat. It's worse when you're in a theater that jacks up the volume. Even when I know what's gonna happen and I steel myself for the sound explosion it still startles the hell out of me and it's not exactly enjoyable in any way.
What are you annoyed most by with modern horror movies?

For me it's the old fake scare. The menacing music and you think something's going to happen but it's only the cat jumping out or the friend grabbing the person by the shoulder.
I love that stuff, but what does annoy me .. is theres a good guy, a bad guy and a screaming blonde!
Some of the ones these days are almost predictable and the same kinda lay out ...

The music before the KILLER comes, why not scare me naturally instead of me knowing the KILLER is coming. I would have been more scared jst eating popcorn and ta da the KILLER.....I hate that when movies do that.
Not scary enough and very predictable.
Japanese horror movies now reigns in this kind of genre.
Those stupid PG-13 flicks that aren't even scary. I hate when for like an hour teens get drunk or there's not enough dialogue like The return. Then the last 30 minutes is the only good part.
None of them are scarry. I wish I could find a movie that scared me.
They are ALWAYS curious!!! They don't say curiousity killed the cat for nothing. I heard something walking around in my woods one night, followed by a small animal screeching and booked my *** in the house and locked all the doors and windows. Those douche bags need to run, and maybe they won't get slaughtered!
