Question: From my prospective it might be Jim Careys (hidden) subconcious....which keeps showing up at certain times to let him know that there is something hidden or something "more." I would really appreciate your opinions.

Hadn't considered that. Your point makes sense, though, especially with reference to the shot of the dog watching from outside the building (why else would it bother to do that?). On the other hand Carrey's character calls the dog 'nasty evil dog', and tries to destroy or control it but is unable to. This might mean that the dog is symbolic of something terribly wrong that he is unable to deal with, like his past catching up on him as Pinky says.
Ooh trying to jog my memory, I think, if I remember, the dog was also a subconcious of his. A symbol within his memory of things that happened in his past. What did you think of the movie itself?
