Netflix acount on hold?!
Question: Anyone know waht the deal is with that. About a year ago i had 4 movies go missing in 1 week. Holiday season and i think the mailman put them in the wrong mailbox ( i live in an apartment building).....and its a college town, so they were gone for good. Marked them all missing.
Just upgraded my account to 8 at a time, just for this week...dropped 3 movies into 2 differnet mailboxes friday and a 4th movie saturday. All to teh sameplace, the movie i dropped off saturday is the only one that arrived.
If those other 3 don't ship out today, its a complete waste of money, so i marekd them missing......and they put my account on hold.
If the 3 missing movies do arrive today do you think they'll unhold my account today?....or do i need to call them

I had one disappear the same way...mailed it from a different mailbox than my usual, and it vanished. I got the same "We know it happens, but..." email that you did.
The very next DVD I got arrived broken in two! I sent it back, and got a stronger e-mail with, "We reserve the right to suspend your account..." message.
Now I'm on eggshells waiting for the next irregularity! I hope you get your account working again! Maybe a written letter or phone call will help!

I think they will un-hold the account. I reported 2 missing recently and they arrived shortly after and they sent me an e-mail to let me know they got them, it just depends on how often it happens to you also, but i think as long as they get the movies you should be fine, however, if you call after today, and explain, they might work with you.
