Has anyone seen that new Michael Moore movie Sicko?!
Question: OMGosh. I wanna move to France. Their health care system is so good and their businesses are ordered by law to give their workers like 5 weeks vacation a year and unlimited sick time off. The movie said the main difference between France and the US is that the French government is afraid of it's people because they are afraid of a revolt and the US citizens are afraid of the government. That's why the government caters to big business here.
What are your thoughts on this?

If I had the money I would move my whole family to Europe the United States has no consideration for it's people yeah we can make money and buy what ever we want but blah blah blah. I can't stand it I have family in Europe and they think we are all crazy and look around we are working non stop driving like mad with cells phones ringing off the hook. No wonder we are having heart attacks like crazy. It's only getting worse too. Ahhhhhh
The fact of the matter is the more sick people we have without health care the better for the US and well how much more can the common man be manipulated in this country??????????? I am so sick of it "no pun intended" I swear to god the American dream is a heart attack and no retirement plan. Then you die and have people beeping during the funeral procession because they need to get to work.
Yes, after seeing "Sicko" I was ready to pack my bags and learn French.
If we weren't so sedated with tv, movies, junk food, and drugs, we would revolt. Who is making money from this? The corporations, of course.
Maybe it's the French culture that makes them immune to this. I wish I knew...
the movie was insightful and i think the big take-home message is that the U.S. needs to fix the health care system so its affordable and accessible to ALL Americans...
