Santa Claus 3 - what is with the inconsistent plot?!

Question: santa can't let his inlaws (two people) find out the north pole is real because they will blab, that will disrupt the space-time continuum etc

when the bad guy becomes santa he can sell tours of the north pole to thousands of ppl all over the world. how about a big WTF. normally i just enjoy a new sequel to a series i like, but when the inconsistencies are that huge i just can't. i was buying the necessity of secrecy at the beginning but they blew it all to crap and ruined the whole point of the first half of the movie.

am i alone on this? other santa claus fans please respond.

without the whole theme park thing, the rest of the movie is great and overall its a great #3.

From what I got out of the movie, if the SOS, or secret of Santa, was broken, then Christmas as we know it (Santa delivering presents, etc) would disappear. Frost broke the SOS, therefore, gifts were no longer delivered to children throughout the world. Only those whom were able to afford it could go to the North Pole to "enjoy" Christmas, while those whom couldn't afford it were no longer receiving presents from Santa, ultimately destroying Christmas (according to the movie.) I have to admit, the whole theme park idea was a little out of there, but overall I thought this was a great movie.

Let me think; oh yea, IT IS A MOVIE, it is not real.

Its a kids holiday movie...enough said

1. It's a kids movie. Would they care?
2. It's a sequel. Of course it's not as good as the ones before it.
3. The franchise, in my opinion, has come to a halt. Let's hope it has, before the writers make a script out of recycled ideas.
