Shrek went to the crapper with the third. They're making a 4th and 5th. AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW... Shrek was better when they swore!

I didn't realize Shrek and Beowulf were the same type of animation. One of them is far more computer oriented than the other, and Shrek's is a cartoon like animation.
What's really popular right now is the Waking Life animation, like from "A Scanner Darkly" or those horrible Charles Schwab commercials, where they videotape people and then draw over it so it's like a human like cartoon. As for Beowulf, it's a fairly new idea so it'll be hot for a while, but this fad won't last, just like every other fad.
