Can anyone translate the opening lines from Pan's Labyrinth for me?!

I've found the English translation of it, and tried translating it on "world.altavista.com" as well as "freetranslation.com", but neither are showing me what I'm hearing.
All I need is up to the line: "And he would wait for her, until he drew his last breath, until the world stopped turning... "
