Sure it will. Why wouldn't it. Is your Aussie dvd player a Sony or JVC or some name brand? It will work. We are all linking together in this world now!! But don't use american appliances in Europe!!! Have you seen the Nome (gnome?)

probably...it depends though. my cousin bought a DVD and watched it in france and it worked....and i've known people who watched american DVDS in aruba...or vice versa, they bought one in aruba and watched it here....but i'm not sure....
