In the movie "Steel Magnolias", Shelby's wedding colors?!
Question: I have seen "Steel Magnolias" a couple of times (it's a decent "chick flick"). One thing I never understood was when Shelby (Julia Roberts) says that her wedding colors are "blush and bashful". What colors is she talking about? Are these Southern terms for colors or something?

yes they are two shades of pink...but i don't think it's limited to southern terms...it's more of a girl thing than a locale thing. ever notice when you walk down the make up isle at the store that all the colors are named something? even if they are almost the same color? well, that's where "blush and bashful" come in....
