I am in china. I can get ten films on one dvd. Cost is 1 pound for ten films. All recent too. I would never pay 15 pounds. Its robbery !
well here in nyc there is chinatown and they have vcd's which are simply the dvd movie itself just with no extra features, cayse remember if you are buying a dvd you have to also buy the extra features. so this way, one vcd in chinatown costs 7-9 bucks with no extra features like director commentary as to a reg dvd which costs 16-30. thats a huge difference. see what features do.
Not many people realise the amount of the cost of a DVD goes to Sony/Philips the co-patent holders for DVD discs, it's obscene.

not at all, if you shop around you can get quality new ones at reasonable prices.. and of course they dont finish before the end of the film. and its illegal to have copies ...

and theres a swop shop site, where you can send for swops dvd/cd.
i say get them on the cheep holloyweird puts out crap anyway

Why i am going to spen my money on expensive dvd if the cheaper DVD is as clear as expensive one. What's the problem with that as long as it is legal market.
no buy buying these you only make the cost higher and as well as being illeagal they are normally poor quality, search around for cheap dvds online or your supermarket, piracy is a crime and knock on pays for guns, drugs, terrorism, etc.
But there will always be fools like you buying them!
Like you say, why pay ￡15 per film or pay to go to cinema, which is expensive for a family, when you can get copy's at 4 for a tenner! Not only that, you are sat at home, all nice and comfortable, Why pay more than you need too?

Let's face the fact that some cheap DVD copies have good qualities too, same as the original ones, which are priced three times higher. So, I don't mind if it's a cheap copy. Just as long as the quality aint sacrificed! Think about it, you'd get to save much and buy more copies. I'm not an advocate of cheap DVD copies (with good quality) - it's a matter of choice! I just spend my money "wisely."

every 1 has had them so if the say no there liers if your going 2 save money of course you are going 2 get them i use 2 get them but no more due nasty ex family sending police to my house but every one has had them

Ooh... i do...Anway what's wrong with that; provided i only utilised them for personal viewing purpose!! Not for rentals & re-selling those dvds... Get my point!
On top of which, non-original / cheap dvds' quality were greatly improved these days. In the past, i used to only purchase original version; but nowadays, eversince, i bought 1 cheaper one; found out that their quality were similar to the original movie; i kinda support both( ori & cheap) now!
Nonetheless, i still buy expensive dvds if i intend to keep them as collectors items... heehee... 1 bad shopper; that's me!

i get pirates and love them i get 5 for ten pound and there licke reall ones so whats the point in payeing 15 pound for one film whean i can get 5 just as good for ten pound
