I read the short story/novel and it was amazing. It will be nothing like it but its Will Smith. Do you remember Independence Day? I was a little kid when I saw it and when I watch it now I still get that "this movie is so kick ***" feeling.
I expect to be blown away and I think Smith will deliver.

well.... have you seen the commercials/ads? they make it look very entertaining, and show you that he's fighting for his life. my opinion is that it looks like it's gonna be a great movie. but only time will tell.....
the book is kinda depressing since there's exactly 1 human & a never ending supply of (spoiler deleted) to bedevil him.
