Scorsese - hands down. He's an absolute artist.
The fact that he finally won his oscar for The Departed and not Goodfellas, is a travesty.
That man knows every set up, every camera angle, every lighting, every everything before he even turns the first page on the first day of shooting.
He's also the only person to ever get what can be called an "acting performance" out of Sharon Stone.
He is a filmmaking genius. And I dont use the word "genius" too often.
Don't make me pick! I like them both!

martin scorsese......most of quentin's films are good but not all....but all of scorsese's films are good (past and present)...
Scorsese, but they should team up for a movie, that 'd be interesting to watch

I love Tarantino and his work but he couldn't come close to making a movie like Raging Bull. The overall body of work for both directors speaks for themselves. Tarantino needs to lessen the gore and focus more on allowing the actors/actresses to carry the scripts the way Scorsese does.
marty hands down..all his movies are classics.quentin is good but he still has a long way to go
Martin Scorsese ofcourse. he made movies like "TAXI DRIVER" "DEPARTED" "THE KING OF THE COMEDY"
I like both, but I would have to go with Marty. I loved Goodfella's and Taxi Driver.

Scorsese. His films are violent but not completely like Tarantino. And his films, at least to me, seem to have more substance than Tarantino.
Scorsese easily. Tarantino is heavily influenced by Marty. Plus, Marty has done more in his career. He's touched and succeeded at alot of different generes that Tarrantino hasn't even attemepted: Drama Raging Bull or the Aviator, Comedy After Hours, Documentry Bob Dylan: No Direction Home, Crime Goodfellas, Horror Cape Fear.
Both have different approches on movies but I'll go with Scorsese because his experience. :)
Even tho it is still early in his career,Tarantino. Scorsese is over-rated. Tarantino takes more chances, and has not limited himself to one genre
scorsese, he has a wider variety of films, and he isn't as arrogant
wow!! tough i love em both!! both id say Scorsese because he makes really good movies all the time, Taratino hasnt made a good flick since Pulp Fiction, Jackie Brown and Reservoir Dogs
