i really liked the punisher....
a lot of people say they didn't like it because there weren't enough bad guys like there were in the comic....but there wasn't supposed to be, the movie is just a really good setup for a series of movies...
i dont honestly know if i'll watch the next one because thomas jane picked another movie to be in instead of the second one and i hate it when they switch actors for the main characters

Otherwise, as a Marvel fan since the Sixties, I've been rather disappointed, particularly with the Fantastic Four. The casting is atrocious! Johnny and Sue Storm NEVER looked like those two! Maybe the second one will be good enough to make me overlook them.
"The Punisher", "Daredevil" and "Elektra" were doomed to fail. I didn't expect much from any of them. I'm sorry, but I didn't care for the "Blade" films all that much; they went for way too much gore. Just because they're vampires doesn't mean everything has to be drenched. "The Hulk" had its moments, but he wandered too far from the original material.
"Spider-Man" was fairly good, but the sequel is exactly right! I haven't seen the third one since I can't get to movie theaters anymore. I'll have to wait till it gets to the movie channels.
From the opening frame of "X-Men", I was comfortable with everything though some casting was different than I expected. The second one is even better. The third one is the weakest but is still very good.
So, I choose the "X-Men" trilogy.
