Philadelphia was amazing, as was Forrest Gump. I'm a sucker for Sleepless in Seattle and You've Got Mail.

I'd say my favorite is "big" and "green mile" I don't have a least favorite movie that he's been in... he's one of my most favorite actors
I love Tom Hanks. My favorites of his are Forrest Gump, The Green mile, Money Pit, Appolo 13, Saving Private Ryan. I thought the Da Vinci code was interesting because I didn't really know the story behind it, but as far as one of his movies, it isn't up there. Joe vs. the Volcano should have been banned it was so bad.
I like him too, no matter what role he plays he makes them seem so real that you can relate to them.............

Yes, The DaVinci Code was a great book. Movie was OK. But my favorite films from Tom Hanks is "Sleepless In Seattle", and "You've Got Mail". He and Meg Ryan have great chemistry. I also like "Big",
Maybe I am too predictable, but I think Saving Private Ryan epitomizes why I like Tom Hanks. I remember him in his first prime-time role, on Bossum Buddies, I used to watch it as a kid and laugh. Then he made Splash and his career skyrocketed. I never did see Bachelor Party, but I understand I didn't miss much. Big was ok, but I felt the other actors didn't carry the movie well.
Then he made Forrest Gump and all Philadelphia, and people realized he could really act, and that his goofy guy routine was the real act. He is a passionate supporter of very dramatic subjects, and why I liked Private Ryan the best is because his character had to put away the fun-loving guy he was, to be serious. He was a school teacher, who had to throw down his books and pick up a rifle, and teach kids how to kill. It doesn't get much more serious than that. I admire Tom Hanks, and I hope he continues his active role in supporting veterans of all US Wars. I am serious when I say, regardless of his politics, I would support him for President, because I feel his character speaks louder than partisan politics anyway.
So, yea, in short, I DO like watching Tom Hanks movies.

everythin he says is a stitch, yeah he is a good actor, i love forest gump, even though it is yet another movie making everyone from alabama look like they just got off of their sister long enough to go to the local kkk rally.
Forrest Gump is my all time favorite movie! That was the most incredible acting job I have ever seen!

I love Tom Hanks, he is hands down one of the best actors that has graced the silver screen!! Forrest Gump and The Green Mile are also personal favorites of mine. I also loved Saving Private Ryan, Castaway, and, last but not least, Big. I did like The DaVinci Code but on another level. It falls into a conspiracy movie, in my book!
