if your smart you should watch because no humans should do to another human what they did to another human it is vary sad to see but should teach you to think for yourself and not listen to what other people tell you to do,the movie made me angry and cry at the same time.
I don't know why she would think it's weird. The movie is based on actual events. It's about a group of young kids making stupid decisions that gets commited of a crime, murder. Use of drugs, little bit of sexual content, profanity, maybe that's why she doesn't want you to watch it.
The movie isn't a great one, but yeah....
I wouldn't recommend it. Its definitely not something kids should watch. There's a lot of drug use and violence. Watch something else.
