This movie has been re-made so many times that I highly doubt it. It was first made in the 1950s and it starred Vincent Price. Then, it was re-made again into Omega Man. So, I don't think that has anything to do with that date at all, in my opinion.
I don't know is there something bad going to happen on the 12's??

2012 is the year the Mayan Calendar ends. So the calendar we use today to keep track of time and day will end in that year. So people have theories saying the world is going to end since after that we won't be able to keep track of days.

I have no idea...I've read the book and it makes no mention of anything like that.
i think it does because the year of the movie is 2012
but we dont know if were all gonna die in 2012 people keep prophisizing(sorry cant spell good) when the end of the world will be but...no body knows when it will be it says in the bible so it could be it might not be... i doubt it tho i think it will be in like the 3000's people have prophisized before and were still here for ex: 6/6/06
