yeah j k rowling announced it a little while ago but i think its silly whats the point of making him gay but it doesn't really matter wether his gay or not i just thought it was silly to anounce it like that
Yes i heard this too apparently during filming of the next film there was a scene were Dumbledor talks about a past love who is a woman but when J.K Rowling heard about this she said that cant happen Dumbledor is gay and the scene had to be removed
In an interview later she was asked about this and she said she always saw Dumbledor as being gay but she just never really wrote it into any of the books

Yes, he was in love with Grindelwald. In the sixth film, the writers wanted to mention something about a girl he liked in the past, but J.K. Rowling had to get him out of the closet so that this storyline would not happen. She anounced it at a publicity speech in New York.

Since people have been saying he was in love with grindelwell but I dont see it, to me it was a friendship, she did not portray his lust or love for another man in any part of the book. She also said she released this info as there was going to be a scene in one of the up coming films about his love affair with a woman.
