The Temptations. The only real group on your list. They went through more triumph, tragedy, and change then the remaining groups combined.

The Dream Girls. Don't know why Jenifer Hudson wasn't nominated for best lead actress.

The Five Heartbeats. I believe it was based on the Dells. Great movie.

The Tempations was a powerful story with great performances, including "I'm Really Going To Miss You", by Smokey Robinson.
