Which was the best and worse Rocky movie, and why?!

Question: From best to worst:
1. Rocky: The original and the best underdog story ever.
2. Rocky II: A worthy successor which puts Rocky through hard times.
3. Rocky Balboa: A great final chapter to the series (especially since it doesn't recognize the error that was Rocky V) which shows Rocky as the People's Champ. Rocky trying to cope with a world he doesn't really want to accept (Adrian's death, Rocky Jr.'s pulling away from his father, etc) also made this one sad as well.
4. Rocky III: Rocky loses his edge and has to find the "eye of the tiger". The final bout was awesome and had the most homo-erotic training scene between Rocky and Apollo Creed.
5. Rocky IV: This one was great and had the great work out sequence ever but just reeked of the 80's.
6. Rocky V: Rocky has brain damage? He loses everything? He still kept his clothing from the first movie? No wonder Stallone doesn't even acknowledge this turd in Rocky Balboa.

Best - Rocky - classic and original

Worst - Rocky V - silly and stupid

Rocky 5 stunk! Rocky reduced to fighting in the street was sad. Rocky 3, with Clubber Lang (Mr. T.), and Thunderlips, (Hulk Hogan) was by far the best.

Best = Rocky 4 Just because I loved the style

Worst = Rocky 3 I hated the matches, they were to clunky

BTW I haven't seen 5

V

I did not like any of them. I take that back. I only saw the first one and that was enough for me.

The Best was Rocky IV with Dolph Lundgren as "Drago." Why? Because it was made before the U.S. conflicts with the Soviet Union ended and there was still the threat of going to war with them. Rocky IV played on the American stereotype of good(U.S.) vs. evil(the Soviets), and Dolph Lundgren was really a believable actor in the role of the super-human Soviet fighter "Drago." It also saw Rocky at his worst, without Adrian, and his best when she flew to Russia to root for him.

Worst-Rocky V. Why? Because the actorTommy Morrison who played "Tommy Gunn" was not believable as an actor in the role. Morrison announced he was HIV positive in real-life in 1996. Regardless, the plot of Rocky V was very bad, most of the actors were sub-standard and the fight seens stunk like crap. The movie took Rocky to his worst depths as a broken fighter who needed to fight for money, which was never his original motivation. It was always about pride and success for him, so Rocky V ruined that storyline.

Plus, they did a wicked job on having the "Don King" like fight promoter get into a fight with him in the streets with Tommy Gunn, without anyone getting arrested. Not belieavable or enjoyable to watch.

However, in my opinion one of the actors who really made the Rocky series enjoyable to watch was Burgess Meredith who played Mickey Goldmill. I loved that man's acting skills and thought that his onscreen cronyism and sarcasm was perfect type-casting to Rocky's optimistic character.

Rocky Balboa - Because Milo Ventimiglia was in it lol

Best was R-II, Rocky really IS a winner!

Worst, well, the rest!
