Nope, not the films. He narrated all seven Potter audiobooks, and I think he's the voice for the Potter DVDs (y'know, pointing out all the special features and explaining the games). But the Potter movies don't have a narrator.
The guy who narrates pushing daisys sounds like the same person who narrates on all our harry potter games,(game cube and playstation) and the goblet of fire dvd where you can play the triwizard tournament games. I think it must be the same person too.
Jim Dale narrates the Pushing Daisies Series. I believe that he is also the person who reads for the Harry Potter book on tape. Maybe that's where your friend is getting it from...
