Question: Reasons why I love it is because Jim Carrey is so brilliantly funny as the Grinch, and I never watch it without saying the Grinch's lines!

Obiviously the original animated short will always hold a special place in everyone's heart, however, that said I thing Jim did a great job at adapting the Grinch's character to the big screen.
As for quotes? You pretty much covered all of my favorite quotes from the Grinch, however my all time favorite Jim Carrey movies are the ACE VENTURA movies! HAHAHA I LMAO every time I watch them! XD

I'm glad you enjoyed it but I'm afraid I don't share your opinion. I think the animated short with Boris Karloff as the Grinch was the best version and should never have been redone.
Although Jim does a fabulous job, my heart still goes to Chuck Jones and Boris Karloff
