THE STORY IS ABOUT RANBIR RAJ (RANBIR) IS NEW IN TOWN AND THEN ONE DAY HE WALKING AROUND AND SAW SAKKINA (SONAM) AND FELL IN LOVE (YOU KNOW LOVE @ FIRST SITE) WELL THEN THEY BECOME GOOD FRIENDS AND WHEN THEY ARE HANGING OUT IN THIS TOWER SHE TELLS HIM SHE HAS TO GO AND RAJ ASKS HIM WHY? SHE SHES HER LOVE IS COMING FOR HER AND THAT BREAKS RAJ'S HEART AND HE TRYS TO HELP HER FIND HER LOVE B/C HE DIDNT SHOW BUT COULDNT FIND HIM AND RAJ SAID HE WOULD BE BEST FOR HER BUT LATER IN THE MOVIE SAKKINA'S LOVE COMES AND LEAVES RAJ BY HIMSELF
IT IS A VERY GOOD MOVIE IF YOU LIKE ROMANCE
BUT IT HAS A VERY SAD ENDING

i have not seen this movie ok
one boy and a girl. they love to each other but someone against him after fight all of them they found to each other at last . and make honeymoon amd make some cute cute babies

Well this is what majority of reviews people are giving to it be it on et or in Real word or so called WOM but is it really that bad ???? oes it belong to the category of Aag or Cash . No it is not and like NO smoking(one of the most intelligent films of the year ) this too is misunderstood film .
Sawaariya is a story basically of Ranbir Raj who comes in side a fairy tale place where there are big LCD screens but no vehicles well IIRC there was not much light too and where every night there used to Rain and Snow . isn’t it a fairyland and even film is until Ranbi Raj knows who Sakina really love. Not going much into story as most of them know that but this film holds your attention at one point ( all the scens) and leaves at other .The major flaw in the screenplay is the
songs except Sawaariya title and Yon Shabnami all were actually not needed and comes at a time there was a need or some expectations that something would happen . the scenes hold your attention to be brokenjust be songs and ewarlier it was ok but from the time of thode badmash it became irritating .still don’t know what chail chabila , jab
se tere naina was there for . now one may argue this is a musical but that musical should contain songs that actually express feelings of Ranbir .
There was no song that actually express how madly Ranbir loves Sakina why ?????? Also one do feel for Salman khan when he gets upset with the director for not keeping his 45 mins. Actually if the songs would have been just 2-3 and they had kept 45 mins of salman it would have been really interesting .
After some advice on screenplay one another sincere advice What was the need to make this story in opulent and beautiful sets ?????? does it make sense that the lover is feeling pathos of love and the background is so beautiful that one gets captivated in it . if the surroundings would have normal one may have actually felt for the character and severly sympathise with Ranbir .
Sonam Kapoor is strictly ok here . She has a sligthy odd dialogue delivery and here giggles and laughter is fake ( Ashs looks fake on TV par yeh to cinema mein bhin fake lagte hain ) to ad to that Mr, Bhansali has given her such a half baked character one just don’t know
what to expect . at one point she becomes a rotdu at one point angry (don’t know at what ) and one point giggling .
Zohra sehgal is terrific here . her chemistry with Ranbir was better than Ranbir- Sonam .
Rani was ok and Salman well it was a special appearance .
Sawaariya has made me Ranbir Fan . the guy has such charm and looks so natural on screen , girls may easily fall for him . its actually a sad fact that In scripting Ranbirs character SLB forgot about other and thus even make this a bit fake . he shows his range brilliantly here from showing pagalpan to getting angry and some trademark RK style .
This is one of the most difficult debues and the Guy comes with flying colours and IMO better than Hrithis(whose father made sure that all ingredients were perfect and hrithik come out on top) and Abhishek(who looked he was still in some lalaland in Refugee). Superstar for sure .
Overall – I don’t know whether I liked the film or not as I cared
for Ranbirs Character but cared damn for other and thus one can say it’s a golden opportunity lost ( don’t know mein kitni baar yeh line likh chukka hu but its true for 70% of films in bollywood )
a one sided love story. ranbir meets sonam and falls in love with her.he befriends her but secretly loves her. later as a fnd she tells him that she is waiting for her lover who will come on id and later gives him a letter to deliver.R. embittered burns the letter but later regrets it.he later confesses it to sonam. she first refuses and then on the second meet she saya that she will try to forget her lover and start a new life with R. at this pt salman returns.Sonam says sorry to R for breaking his heart and goes with salman. R is happy as sonam is happybut is personally sad at the loss.he then goes to continue his life.this is the total synapsis .story not for aam janta but i liked it

nothing new the same that has been done 100 times before, boy loves a girl and she reveals to him that she is in love with someone else, in between there is a song every 10 minutes and rani mukherjee keeps on appearing for some reason i dint see the end though my DVD got stuck in the player and i was saved from the mesery(thank god for that)!
The story is that it's a FLOP and the story is that Ranbir Kaboor is GAY and the girl appearing with him is Ms. I-don't-know-what-acting-is !!!
