Answers: the only ones i can think of are scarface the fly and invasion of the bodysnatchers

The only one I can think of is The Fly...Jeff Goldblum was absolutely incredible in that movie!!!

Oceans 11

Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.
the Johnny Depp verson(the new one) was truer to the book. Although the orange and green Oompa Loompas will always be my favourites :P

I like the new Thomas Crowne Affair (Pierce Brosnan & Rene Russo) better than the Steve McQueen one

KING KONG

Kong rhymes with BONG!

Ocean's 11 was the first thing to come to mind, but it's been said so... Gone in 60 Seconds? Better.

i think it is very hard to beat the originals. and if it is a remake i think that they should just do a complete redo of the movie. don't copy scene for scene. make it fresh.

3:10 To Yuma
King Kong

For the main chunks of the movie, The Hitcher is better in the remake, although the remake does fail completely at times when logic is an important plot aspect.

I much prefer the remake of Planet of the Apes to the original.

Also, my 2003 (I think) version of Peter Pan is the best version I've seen yet.

John Frankenheimer's remake of the TV series
"The Fugitive" was a HUGE imorovement!

I liked the original "Snatchers" better, but to each his own...

Each of the makes of "Scarface" has it's own charms, after all, Al Pacino's infamous snarl..."Say 'Hello' to my lil' fren'" is worth the rental by itself!

Casino Royale
The Manchurian Candidate
