What are you opinions on Pirates of the Caribbean 3?!
Question: I thought it was the best out of the trilogy. The action was better than the first two and the comedy was on par with two. Overall, I enjoyed the third one the best.

i liked them all but i fink the 3rd one is all based around 2 much humor. This kinda ruined the film as it didnt folow on from the first one very well

Out of all them I found the third to follow the rule of most Triology's. That is have a over stressed story more action than neccessary and to lose track of what made the first film fun.
Pirates was an exceptionaly fun and interesting movie when it came. When we get to Pirates 3 it is as if they lost who the charactors where. Jack become a side act to Will and Elizabeth. Which was a huge down side. The multiple personalitys of Jack albeit funny was just un-called for.
It was as if it was to add footage to already drab story. But what killed the series and this movie for me is how they treated the death of Will Turner. To me it left me feeling disheartened and jaded. It was that alone that made me hate this movie.
They do a huge build up them marrying only have him die 5 minutes later after Barbosa announces them man and wife. Isn't that a jip you husband lives forever and you age and eventually die.
Hmm great story arc and just poor writing. But what can you say Triologys always end with the sucky one except in rare occassions. Unfornately this was a truely sucky one.
I thought it was pretty cool- especially when they flipped the ship over. I didn't like the ending, though, I thought Jack should've become the next Davey Jones- not Will.

i thought part 2 was kinda weird, then part 3 was just plain stupid. Sure, they have awesome graphics, but i seriously think they should have left it at the first one, it had the right amount of comedy and action and nothing stupid like a bunch of jacks killing each other over a freakin peanut! that movie was waaaay too long and the dumb parts should have been deleted. they are trying too hard to bbe funny, and what was up with tia dalma getting big and the clams? *sighs*...pointlessness...
