Overpopulated, excessive rain due to climate change, pollution, strange new effects of technology on human civilization... and generally dark and disturbing.

the time machine. because i believe that due to global warming n etc. the earth will go back to the medeval ages
Of those 3....The Time Machine has only the tinest glimpse into the "near" future, and it seems to be close enough to what I would expect (pre-blowing up the moon). the split evolutanary tracks thing though...no, I don't see that.
Bladerunner made jack diddily sense to me. that entire movie was just one big drawn out...."what the fork is going on?" hated it, and all I could tell was the future had robots and was poorly lit. I don't see either one of those things happening.
Minority Report dangles on the extreme fringes of possibility. the automated highways and car-capsules would require a completely reinvention of our transportation infrastructure on a level that's just completely unreasonable. personal jetpacks are an absolute not-gonna happen. the "spiders" are also inconceivable to me. Some of the things I see as possible...the "inhaler" style illegal drugs, the "magic-fingers" computer screens, and the eye-scans everywhere to customize advertising.
i wouldn't say any of them but i reckon that what happened in die hard 4 could happen in the future
