I liked the majority of the movies as well.

well its entertaining but not worth wasting an entire life over, i enjoy it but i know when to put the remote down!

the original series is rubbish but im sure back in the days it came out is was good. next generation is ok as is ds9. enterprise had a few good series, especially the last 2 years of it. voyager is by far the best of the lot as there was new ground broken. obv it has a few bad episodes but on the whole it was amazing. as for the movies, i liked them all. nemesis is the best and its not a good thing that for the next film they are going back to the beginning. this is where the whole franchise went wrong with enterprise. but we will see.

Star Trek is like marmite; you either love it or hate it. For those who love it, you love everything about it--tolerating the not-so-good for the sake of the whole. For those who hate it, you may develop a tolerance for it... but you never really "get it".
well it was, but endless spin offs and films that went one step too far, made it less interesting and now its very outdated.
in its day it was innovative and fun. hence its huge following. now i watch it and think good grief did i really think this was good.
