I'm going to see it as soon as it comes out here. Just because it's written by and Atheist doesn't mean anything. And the movie isn't telling people to not believe in good, it's just showing a different point of view. If people can't be open minded enough to listen to others points of views then they do not fully understand religion.
And for the person who said "nasty Atheist" in above post. Just because they do not share the same view as you, it doesn't automatically make them nasty. What makes your religion so right? Everyones different, and I agree with the Golden Compass challenging Organized religion, it has only brought fighting, arguing and war into the world.
