Has anyone ever seen a sequel to a movie that was as good as the first?!
Question: I've argued with my freinds about this
usually they have better special effects and newer technology
but I've never seen a sequel that didn't ruin the story and plot of the first
and 99% of sequels have really bad acting or perhaps its just the ridiculous story lines they try and put in

Aliens, The Empire Strikes Back, Godfather II, The Omen II, X2, T2..... theyre few and far between, but, yes, there are good sequels out there.....

Rush Hour 2, was no better than the first Rush Hour. And I'm betting I don't have to see the third movie, to also find out it is no better.
28 weeks later was a good sequel...i was 100% surprised by it.
i like the saw series and think each one has been better

I thought terminator 2 was better than the original.
I loved every Rocky movie.
I have to agree that it is rare but in my opinion the chronicles of riddik was a great sequel to pitch black. They barely scratched the surface of the character of riddik and it was nice to see them develop that further in the sequel. Vin diesel isn't one of the best actors I've ever seen but his acting in the sequel was much improved.
