Do you belive the Eragon book was as good as the movie?!

the book was way better than the movie i loved the book and then the movie came out and i thought it was rubbish no way near as good as the book
The books are never as good as the movies. There's just no way to pack all of the details into a movie. And the Eragon movie was WAY too short!
i never finished the book, but i feel that i got more information out of what i read of the book then i did the movie. although i did like the movie alot because it gives somebody elses image on how every thing goes

The book was far better. It is always necessary to leave out too much in order for the movie to fit in the 2 hours time slot. Also, I often prefer what my imagination conjurs up over the Hollywood version.
I couldn't make it throught the book or the movie. Both were really boring.
