Question: It's based on a short book. In the book, there is a virus that has turned everyone into vampirical creatures. All but one man that is. He lives a solitary life, defending his house from the creatures, who can only come out at night. At one point he finds a dog, but the next day it dies. In the end he finds a girl and it turns out she's one of them, but she's not bad. She warns him that they are going to start a new society and he should leave because they want to kill him. He doesn't listen and so they capture him and she gives him some pills so he can kill himself. It ends when he swallows the pills.

Will Smith's character's the last man on Earth, living in NYC but there are some kind of aliens or creatures also on earth! Looks like a great holiday movie!!
