If you could make a movie, would you film it in black & white?!
Question: It all would depend on the context of the film. Filming a movie in black and white just because you can really isn't something I would suggest. If the black and white is used for the over all feel and mood of the film, then it can be justified.
"Momento" for instance use both B/W and color. This was becasue there were two stories happing at once. To differentiate between the two, this technique was used, but it went deeper than that. and each film technique was used to make the audience feel different about the stories being told.
Going further back, "Wizard of OZ". The audience is taken from a dull farm life to a land of magic. What audience memeber at that time did not sympathize with that feeling of OZ being a magical place. Viewers today get the came feeling because of the color contrasts.

Depends on the Genre and the plot. It is unlikely as the only genre that is traditionally in black and white and is worth remaking is Film Noir and i don't have a huge interest for Noir.
No, for the movies I have in mind (which are all my scripts) are in color, except one, which is more of a genre buster, so it has it all, with a couple of B/W scenes

Oh heck yeah. I mean, I would prefer color. But I love lots of old black and white movies and would have ideas for a certain kind of B&W movie and I'd totally go for it. As long as I'm making a movie!!
Depends on what the story is. But I think black and white movies are very cool. If it was a mystery, that would be really cool.
