Would someone please explain to me the beauty and grace of the movie called No C!
Question: I paid to see it and thought It was one of the worst movies I have ever seen. I should have gotten up walked out and demanded my money back. The only reason I did not was I kept thinking ....This has got to get better. Saddly it never did.
As a reference please understand, I watch several movies each week. I love movies, almost every kind of movie.
I rate movies on a scale of 1 to 10. Some not all the Movies this year I have loved are Hitman, Stardust, Transformers, Next, Die Hard, Bourne, etc etc.....all of those I gave a score of between 8 and 10.
This waste of time I give a - 10...If you have seen it what would you give it?
This trash was horrible, the begining the middle the end. The actors have made many great movies, how they ever got talked into this, I have no ideal, unless its true , enough money will get you anything.
Anyway If you can, please explain any redeming qulaities you saw in the movie.

the movies you listed as ones you liked are action/adventure movies...like me, you won't find a movie like No country for old men good....It was filmed entirely in this city where I live (Las Vegas, New Mexico)..I watched most of the movie being filmed & didn't like what I saw..It does seem quite boring..they had the movie premier here, where everyone who was involved in it (including extras) got to see it first..nobody had a good review of it either..oh well...I guess nothing will compare to the Die Hard's or Bourne's....haha..the benefit of the movie is that it brought TONS of moolah into this town..I, myself got paid to have my store included in the background with the lights kept on 24/7..even though Tommy Lee had attitude..........p.s....the Mexico border in the movie was fake!..It was soooOooooo funny seeing so many people coming into my store to ask how they got lost...and how many Mexicans were so paranoid!...My store is in the background of the border :D :D.....................DreO
I hate to break it to you, but you just didnt get it. Judging by the movies you listed, I am not sure why you thought that you would like a film such as No Country for Old Men. That film is well-made, artistic film, not a typical, run-of-the-mill action film like you listed above. Hitman? Next? Those movies were pretty bad. Next? Seriously, that movie was horrible! And there was nothing too great about the fourth Die Hard movie either. Stardust and Transformers were pretty good and entertaining, but there is a huge difference between those and No Country. No Country is a "film" made for artisitc reasons whereas your listed titles are "movies" made purely for entertainment and profit.
No Country for Old Men was brilliantly made down to nearly every detail. Acting, cinematography, screenplay, editing, etc. were all phenomenal. The story is confusing at times and very symbolic, not direct, which turned many people off. Also, I found the film wonderfully suspenseful and had me on the edge of my seat throughout.
