Need help with alphabetizing movies?!
Question: i have just inheritad a " BUTT LOAD " of movies from my in-laws. im going to write the movie titles onto word pad. i have windows xp. after i get done writing them in there, is there some way to get them alphabetized ? please help show me if you can, we have ALOT of vcr tapes

Enter the movie titles in Excel...then once you get that....go to Data...sort.....then alphabetically...if you put a header...like i.e
Movies
Stigmata
Evan Almighty..
Then do data, sort....then select by header...then ascending..then it will sort all of them...dont forget to highlight all the movie names..including the header titled "movies"
Yes. If you have MS Word,
- Copy the list into that, then
- Highlight the entire list (command "a")
- On the enu bar under Tables, click "sort"
It will ask by which aspect you want to seort, click "paragraph"
Voila!!!
Excel would be a LOT easier.
Under data, choose sort.
