No sir, Chedder Bob lives. He is there cheering him on during the last freestyle battle scene. B-Rabbit is shown freestyling to him before the battle starts as The Free World members walk into the club backstage. I don't believe they know each other, or ever did, in real life and it's doubtful they keep in contact.
