Any Laurel and Hardy fans out there?!

Question: I just watched "Way Out West" on video on demand, hysterical!
I've got to track down a collection of their films; if anyone has any suggestions please give them.

I always liked their shorts better than their features. But they were always funny. Even in "Utopia," they still had the same chemistry, if not the pizazz. Ollie appears without Stan in John Wayne's "The Fighting Kentuckian," which is also worth a watch.

This sudden interest couldn't have to do with your liking "Mouse Hunt," could it?

Frightfi gave you a good link and JOAT's suggestion of the library is a good one to. Here's a fan club that features free downloads. After all, $200 for a 21 disc box set is a bit steep if you're just starting out.

...try this website out; I have not had a chance to get their Laural & Hardy Collection, yet, but some of the stuff that I've ordered from them, is pretty good quality...

Your public library may have some for loan. Go the Amazon.com. They've got a ton of them for sale. One note, the last film they boys made was called Utopia. They were old, and the film is nowhere near their funnier stuff from the 20s and 30s. Stan wanted to buy all the prints and destroy them. Since he wanted to destroy it, I've refused to watch it. Unfortunately, it appears in so many of their collections.

Amazon.com has all the Laurel & Hardy you want.

OH yes!!!
That one called "sons of the desert" I think where they join the Foreign Legion and Stan and Ollie are put in the cookhouse. They are told to peel the potatoes and are shown into a room where there is a literal MOUNTAIN of spuds. We cut forward to the next scene where Stan (I think) has peeled the potatoes so badly (I.e cut so much peel off theres only a little piece of spud left) and from the HUGE mountain they started with, they can barely fill a pan. Im laughing thinking of it......so so so so funny, comic genius!!!! :)))))
Get this one Mikey, you will love it :)))
