hills have eyes

last house on the left

saw. hostel. hills have eyes

barney....you are sure not to sleep for weeks after it

depends how scary you want it lol buy hostel its the only horror film thats ever scared me. perhaps the only actually scary one out there lol. (its based on snuff movies, which are real ewww)

chainsaw massacre or scary mobie

roadkill, the thing (kurt russell), 28 days later, the others, 6th sense,

I strongly advise 28 days later (british one) followed by 28 weeks later, very scary, very gorey and extremely suspenseful.. watch watch watch! in the dark and a cushion... try the blair witch project or the exorcist too =D

its a old one but a classic , its amitytyville horror 2 because this actually did happen at the real amityville house back in the 60s an it spooks you out a bit , but the film is just folk lore but i just think he was a nutcase , but its a classic horror

Wolf Creek

Fear of the Dark terrified me... I have yet to finish it... But that's probably just because kids freak me out and there's a part with shadows of a bunch of kids giggling all scary-like... Lol.

You'd better watch the news!!
The most frightening movie I watched in my childhood was: 'The thing'.

My Bloody Valentine.

saw III ghostship sixth sense the omen house of wax

Different people are scared by different things though!

The ones that freak me out the most are generally considered a bit lame by real afficionados - but then I am more sensitive to the small things than the big scary jobs!

The Wickerman makes me want to crawl behind the sofa!

Labour Party Political Broadcast

Blue Velvet.

The grudge, and the grudge 2, are by far, the scariest movies ever made. That's as close to fact as someones opinion can get.

The Ugly. It's an Australian film I think, but very creepy and awesome. Worth tracking down.

There are different kinds of horror.

Slasher Films: The Scream movies, Urban Legend series was pretty good too

Suspense/Thriller: Sixth Sense, The Others, Stir of Echos, Skelton Key

Gore: Saw, Hostel, Hills Have Eyes

Foreign Remakes: Ring, Ring 2, Grudge, Grudge 2

Ghosts: Boo, Boogeyman, The Fog

Zombie: 28 Days Later, 28 Weeks Later, Night of the Living Dead

Other good movies too to check out
Final Destination (all 3)
The Candyman
Tales from the Hood is kinda cool
Ghostship
It
Pet Semetary (pretty creepy for an older movie)
Christine
Grave Secrets (based on a true story made for TV movie)

hostel 1 or 2
