Is there a boxed set of Star Wars Episodes 1, 2 & 3 as of Dec 2007?!

Question: Christmas gift.

Answers: Christmas gift.

No, there is not a box set of ep 1 - 3 as of right now but it will be coming. There are two more versions of the movies yet to be released ... the 3-D versions and the "Super" versions ... in the works. Only "rumor" at this time but 2009 & 2012 are the dates being tossed around at the moment.

That being said there IS a unique set of the movies that are out right now that while they don't quite qualify as a "box set" but almost. Lucas finally bowed to the wishes of the fans last year and released the original originals to DVD. By that I mean the versions that came out in 77, 80, & 83 with no changes or special effects tweaking what so ever. Lucas, every watchful of making an extra buck from the "cash cow" that Star Wars has turned into for him, had them released in two different ways. First, of course, was one at a time ... the second was pretty unique in that the also came with copies of ep 1 - 3 with them. By that I mean if you bought the OT version of ep 4 it came packaged with ep 1 ... ep 5 with ep 2 ... ep 6 with ep 3. If I remember right the sets with 2 disks in them were only about 5 to 8 dollars more than if you just bought the OT by itself.

Hope this helps ... May The Force Be With You.

no

No. There are no plans for a boxed set at this time, but that doesn't mean there will never be one. I would expect to see one for next Christmas.

Sorry, no boxed set for Episodes I, II, and III yet.

ep 1 and 2 have a box set
but not all 3

Try to check it here

no..there is not because George Lucas is waiting to rape our childhood sometime in the near future...there will probably be 2-3 different sets as soon as he finds a way to add another 32 seconds and call it a special directors cut....
