Is "I am Legend" legendary?!

Question: A few hours after seeing I am Legend, I was left with a number of different emotions, some that I'm not sure I could even describe. I was filled with hope, but also with a deep sadness. The movie was haunting at some points in ways I can't even bring to words. What were your thoughts and feelings a little while after letting the film sink in.

That movie is from a short story if you don't know...

With that said this movie was great. He wouldn't be a legend if he had lived. Plus all he had left was his work and Sam, when he lost that, he lost everything, even the will to live.

He found the cure and everything has a meaning. The butterfly has an important meaning plus everything happened with a meaning. Anna had the tattoo, his daughter talked about the butterfly, even there are images throughout the movie of the butterfly. You can say that there was a higher power at work making the connections where they where needed.

Plus the creators had some meaning as well. I took it as Will Smith taking the guy creator's girl and he was doing everything that he could to get her back or get Will Smith. He was always there commanding the others and was there when him and Will Smith met their end running at each other.

This movie was good if you understand it and enjoyed what is was trying to say.

well i felt like that should never ever happen to new york city it really made me think about the world ending it made me cry a little =*[

i would never say that a movie is "legendary"
amazing maybe but you can call a lot of movies "amazing"
this one, though is getting close to it
but what i dont think is "legendary" is that the book is 99.5%
different than the movie.

I really enjoyed this movie. I think that Will Smith's performance was definately Oscar worthy. The movie was good but I don't think it will be liked by everyone. It was not what I expected it to be. It was much scarier than I expected too. When thinking about the movie, it brings up puzzling thoughts. I wonder how most other people who react in his situation.

the creepy dude things scared the poo out of me, but that is a sign of a good movie, kept my heart racing.
2 things bugged me:
1--there was a lot of time between when he pulled the pin on the grenade thing and when it finally went off, so why couldn't he just pull the pin, throw it and get in the hidey hole chimney thing with the woman and kid?
2--if some woman showed up at the "safe colony" with a vial of blood, you'd think the immune people would be leary and not just take it from her bare handed. I'd think they'd be all "get the hell outta here with that crap!"

I know I know, it's just a movie...

In regards to the movie, I felt that it had a symbolic meaning to it. If I may be indulged, the theme of this movie is about the things that is actually wrong with the world today. It intertwines of a mutated virus that was suppose to cure cancer to things such as human error and arrogance, hate and so on ie. the scene when Will elaborates on Bob Marley and how Marley was into peace and against people wanting to do harm in the world; ragardless getting shot by hate mongrer. SO, the motif of the movie beyond reasonable doubt is hope for all of us and our future!

dude i went and saw that with u!!! anyway, i couldnt get to bed that night after we saw it, and i had a lot of different thoughts after that, oh and trust me that was a little haunting
