Has anyone ever watch the movie the day after an atomic bomb documentary, wouldn!

Question: Actually "The Day After" was a made-for-TV movie. I am old enough to remember watching it live when it was broadcast. Not sure it would be as effective today. Back then, a lot of us were pretty sure Reagan was going to start a war with the Soviets, and that fear is what drove "The Day After" into being produced. Fortunately we were wrong, and Reagan turned out to be a pretty good president.

I'm surprised it hasn't been remade. It was a very good movie.

Now that you mention it...it actually would make a good remake.

Man if that movie was remade to fit with today's storylines and special effects there would be no "Day After". Everything would end at the bombing, and the rest of the movie would just be billions and billions of people dying off. Sounds pretty boring after the cool special effects are over.
