Old or new (king Kong)..?!
Question: I just got to see the 1933 version of King Kong and it had AMAZING effects...and so does the new version...i loved the new version when i watched it but the old version is really good too...what do u think?

I did enjoy both but I saw the original on tv as a kid so that is my favorite one. The Peter Jackson (newer version) is very good but a bit long. What stuck me about the newer version is that it is sort of a love story. Ann does have a soft spot for Kong. In the original Ann is just scared to death of him. In the original Carl Denhem is a showman, in the newer version Denhem (Jack Black) is the villian.

I like the newer one. It is more realistic. You can tell most of the things in the 1933 version is either a puppet or toy.
I like the new version more simply because Kong shows more emotional range.
